A native of Santa Maria California started creating art as a form of expression. At an art event, the artist in location brought attention to her innate talent for painting. This inspired Ismelda to start to paint and write. Ismelda is a current student at Western New Mexico University, concentrating on her bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
